Austin Ward

While originally from Wyoming, I’ve been a Colorado resident for the past 9 years, the most recent 6 in the Broomfield and Boulder areas.  I graduated in 2018 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Business and currently work for RTD as a bus operator.

Since 2016 I have been a fierce transportation advocate, specifically public transportation, bike infrastructure, and walkable communities. I currently bike about 20 miles to and from work Monday through Friday, and on less than ideal days I bike and bus.

 

Housing, transportation, sustainability, and the environment are big issues for Broomfield right now and they are extremely important to me. Living in Colorado affords numerous opportunities to explore the outdoors and I will work to draft policies that make Broomfield a diverse, inclusive, affordable, and environmentally conscious community.
